Yes, the guy seems like a douchebag.
Is he the ideal candidate for Senator? No.
But will he be better than Roland Burris? Almost assuredly.
And more importantly, will vote on the right side of the issues more frequently than Mark Kirk? Surely.
Alexi Giannoulias is a douchebag, but I'm voting for him anyway.
